Cycling in the white

Accompanied by a bicycle tour guide we will visit the Carrara Marble Quarries, travelling along the ancient roads once used by quarrymen to reach the Marble Quarries and enjoying fantastic views. We will discover the ancient and modern excavation techniques used to extract this fantastic stone known and used all over the world: the Famous White Marble of Carrara. In the village of Colonnata, also famous for its Lardo IGP, we will take a well-deserved break for a snack at the larderia. Once Refreshed, we will set off again in search of spectacular views ranging from the peaks to the sea. A few breaks for worthy photographic shots will characterise our return.
