Here, we’ll leave the minivan behind and climb aboard powerful 4x4 Jeeps—the only vehicles capable of navigating the steep, white roads of the quarries. We’ll watch the quarry workers at work at over 1,000 meters above sea level and discover the secrets of extracting “white gold.” Next, we’ll explore the timeless elegance of Piazza dei Miracoli, immersing ourselves in the masterpieces of Pisan Romanesque architecture.
