The tour includes the presence of a cycling tour guide to reach one of the greenest areas of the coast on a flat land bordering Liguria and Tuscany.
With a circular itinerary, starting from the sea, you will cycle to reach the famous Marinella and the ancient excavations of Luni, on a completely flat route that will take you to discover enchanting places surrounded by hills and sea.

Setting sail aboard a sailboat from La Spezia's Mirabello harbor or the Marina di Carrara Club Nautico, you'll sail along the coast of the Cinque Terre admiring the famous colorful villages that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, where you can snorkel in the protected area known as the "Cetacean Sanctuary."

Like Luca, the protagonist of the namesake Pixar movie, fall in love with Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso and sail around the islands of Palmaria and Tino to Portovenere.

**Stage 24 via Francigena**
Arrival of pilgrims in Piazza San Giorgio for Francigena stamping. Beginning of the tour of Sarzana, a small town in the heart of the Val di Magra that, since ancient times, has always been a religious, commercial and judicial center of great importance, and of its two Fortresses (Firmafede and Sarzanello) passing through Via Mazzini and Via San Francesco. Tasting and explanation of Spongata di Sarzana a typical dessert made with short pastry, dried fruit and honey prepared for the holidays, or Farinata, a savory Ligurian cake with ancient origins and made with the use of chickpea flour, extra virgin olive oil, water and salt.

Sail aboard our boat and prepare to sail into the Gulf of Poets, a wide and deep inlet of the Ligurian Sea that has enchanted poets and writers since the 19th century. 
Our cruise will take you to discover the picturesque seaside villages that dot the gulf. We will visit Fezzano, with its pastel-coloured houses overlooking the sea, Cadimare, renowned for its shipyards, and Le Grazie, a fishing village with an enchanting view of the gulf. 
We will continue towards Porto Venere, an ancient fishing village perched on a promontory and dominated by the Church of San Pietro. In front of Porto Venere we will admire the three islands Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto, an archipelago of rare beauty that is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. 
 We then sail to Lerici, a medieval village located at the eastern end of the gulf. Dominated by the Castle of San Giorgio, Lerici offers evocative views and an enchanting atmosphere. After visiting the small village and discovering its wonders, you will be able to stop for lunch in the main square, Piazza Garibaldi, in a typical Ligurian restaurant. After lunch, you can sit back on board and enjoy the marvellous landscape that unfolds before your eyes: a fascinating succession of caves, deep gorges, hidden coves, forests and picturesque seaside villages nestled between the rocks and the crystal clear sea.

Amazing tour with tastings and sea views accompanied by a bicycle tour guide. Set out to discover Tuscany's most famous cities of art: Florence and Pisa. Accompanied by one of our experienced tour leaders, aboard a comfortable coach, you will reach Florence, the famous city and capital of Tuscany. Free time at leisure to visit the historic center and its renowned monuments such as: Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio (now the seat of the Florentine municipality), the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with Brunelleschi's dome, its Baptistery and Giotto's Bell Tower, Ponte Vecchio with its jewelry stores.

Departure from Monterosso 
Along the route you will discover the natural coastline, the historic villages between Monterosso and Riomaggiore that are only visible by sea.
Immediately after Riomaggiore, the first of the 5 Terre, we will take a second swim near a beautiful small bay.
We will explore the five villages by boat slowly so that we can take beautiful photos.
We will stop for the third time near Corniglia to explore a small cave, take a dive off the cliff and have an aperitif on the boat.

Meeting of participants with the tour leader at the National Museum of Transportation established in 1986 with the aim of safeguarding trolleybus and railway vehicles: trolleybuses, steam, diesel and electric locomotives, and freight wagons from the 19th century, some of which are still in working order and used for special events. At the end of the visit, we will continue to the Rimembranza Park, opened in 1923 on Gaggiola Hill is included in the FAl project assets. Each of its 540 trees, cypresses, oaks, pines, limes and laurels, was dedicated to a La Spezia Fallen of the Great War, with a plaque bearing the name placed on a spear driven into the ground in front of each plant. It was renovated in 2021 and reopened to the public with new games for children and is a livable green lung in total safety, in which water turtles and free roaming bunnies can be observed. Afterwards, walk through the historic centre along Via Prione and snack at the city's historic pizzeria.

We will cross the Gulf of Poets to admire the picturesque seaside villages of its coastline. The first stop will be Porto Venere, with its jagged coastline, rocky caves, the church of San Pietro, the caruggi (typical narrow streets of seaside villages), the sea-calley and the walls of the Doria castle.
Next, we will reach the 5 Terre: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso, admiring them from a privileged perspective. These five villages suspended between land and sea, surrounded by vineyards and rocks, are truly magical places, rich in colours, flavours, images, sounds and materials that are unique in the world. You will have the opportunity to visit the beautiful Vernazza on your own and, if you wish, stop for lunch in a typical Ligurian restaurant. The captain will be waiting for you on board.
On the way back, you can admire Monesteroli, a small fishing village that can only be reached from the sea or via a very steep flight of 2,200 stone steps. Furthermore, on the left, you will see the historic Byron cave dedicated to the English poet Lord Byron and have another fantastic view of Porto Venere.

Departure from the cruise Terminal of La Spezia with one of our tour leader to reach the La Spezia train station, where we will take the train to Manarola. Arrival in Manarola, the second of the five villages that are part of the 5 Terre Natural Park. Short walk to reach the heart of the village, where you will enjoy the beauty of the landscape. Time available for photos . Then, departure from the Manarola train station towards Monterosso, the last of the 5 Terre five villages. Arrival in Monterosso after a 15-minute train ride. About 2 hours free time to visit the lovely fisherman village. Afterwards, departure from the Monterosso train station to return to La Spezia.
Once out the station, we will reach the La Spezia Cruise Terminal by a 20 minutes’ walk along Via del Prione, one of the prettiest pedestrian streets of the city. 


Cinque Terre: Manarola and Monterosso 

Departure from the cruise Terminal of La Spezia for a wonderful sightseeing of Cinque Terre. Short photographic stop in the panoramic yard of the fishermen village of Manarola to enjoy the beauty of the landscape. Then, we will drive towards the Tuscany city of Pisa. Let yourself be impressed by the beauty of the famous Leaning Tower and the “Miracle Square”.  Afterwards, return to La Spezia. The tour includes the bus ride from the cruise terminal and back, as far as the presence of a tour leader on bord from the start to the end of the trip.

Accompanied by a bicycle tour guide, we will visit the Caprione Promontory through a loop itinerary: from the long River of Bocca di Magra to climb, accompanied by breath-taking panoramas, to the village of Montemarcello, listed among the most beautiful Italian villages. Aperitif break stop in Montemarcello. Then, will set off again crossing ancient mule tracks through the Mediterranean maquis to reach the splendid village of Ameglia. There we will hunt for characteristic panoramic views. Afterwards, return to Bocca di Magra riding all along the river. All this kaleidoscope of scents, flavours and views will accompany you until the next tour!

Accompanied by a bicycle tour guide we will visit the Carrara Marble Quarries, travelling along the ancient roads once used by quarrymen to reach the Marble Quarries and enjoying fantastic views. We will discover the ancient and modern excavation techniques used to extract this fantastic stone known and used all over the world: the Famous White Marble of Carrara. In the village of Colonnata, also famous for its Lardo IGP, we will take a well-deserved break for a snack at the larderia. Once Refreshed, we will set off again in search of spectacular views ranging from the peaks to the sea. A few breaks for worthy photographic shots will characterise our return.

Travel through time to discover a Roman quarry while crossing a lunar landscape. Departing from the Cruise Terminal in La Spezia, the Cruise Terminal in Marina di Carrara or from Carrara centre in a comfortable coach you will arrive at Fossacava: Roman quarry from the 1st century BC, used for the extraction of Bardiglio nuvolato, a quality of colored marble much appreciated by the Romans. Major archaeological site located on the road to Colonnata perfectly preserved where you can take advantage of a free guided tour or explore on your own, assisted by panels created _ad hoc_. Afterwards, riding a 4x4 jeep, set off on an adventure and delve into the marble quarries, thanks to expert guides. Unique experience among the quarry routes that will leave you spellbound thanks to the jaw-dropping landscape.  You will reach the highest peaks from which we can even admire the Cinque Terre!

Meeting of participants with the tour leader in front of the Naval Museum, one of the oldest in the world that preserves relics and artifacts evidence of navigations, explorations, battles, scientific experiences, inventions and innovations, located at the Military Arsenal and visit. At the end, walking along Via Chiodo to reach the city center. We will arrive at Via del Prione where the exploration will continue by visiting the Quintino Sella Antiaircraft Shelter. The tour will conclude by visiting the permanent exhibition on Agostino Fossati, La Spezias 19th-century Romantic painter, set up at the Palazzina delle Arti to admire the beautiful views of pre-arsenal La Spezia compared with today's city.

At the end, optional tasting of typical local products including farinata, a Ligurian specialty made with a batter made from chickpea flour, water, olive oil and salt, and savory rice cake, a poor but flavorful and hearty recipe.

The majesty of Pisa joins the discovery of the fascinating Livorno. Accompanied by one of our professional tour leaders, you will discover Pisa, a Tuscan city famous throughout the world for the uniqueness of its Piazza dei Miracoli and its Leaning Tower, and Livorno, a city to be experienced by breathing in its sea and its historical beauty. Free time at leisure to visit Pisa, its monuments, the narrow streets of the historic centre, the Lungarni characterised by picturesque bridges, and Piazza dei Cavalieri, still home to the renowned Normale University, completed by an accompanied walking tour along the streets of Livorno's historic centre, discovering the Fortezza Nuova, Mercato Centrale, Quartiere Venezia and the Duomo.
